Hi, I’m Colleen, and I believe that at the root of great content is great writing. I get it—writing isn’t always fun. For many people, it’s a tedious and mind-numbing chore.
The good news is you don’t have to be a “writer” to write awesome stuff. You don’t need to memorize the dictionary or have perfect grammar. All you need are good planning and communication skills, and you can figure out the rest.
I hope that you learn to write with purpose and gain a confidence in your writing that you never knew you could have.

I’m a technical writer by day and a blogger, fiction writer, and business owner by night. As you probably guessed, I’m a words person, 24/7. I love writing from the big-picture outlining and planning to the granular can-I-find-a-better-word-here slog.
I have a BA in Creative and Professional Writing and an MA in Professional Writing from Carnegie Mellon University. I hope I’m putting them to good use (but you tell me!).
When I’m not writing—it happens—I’m reading, cooking up some delicious plant-based food, making to-do lists, and cuddling up with my dog Maya.
